Mom, mummy, mama, amma
Are words of simplicity
For me, amma, is the magic word
That comfors, consoles, heals
Protects and encourages and inspires

Ma, we are the hearts beating together
In the wonder of the universe
Ma, you are so gentle, yet very strong
The many ways you show your care
Makes me feel I belong, always

Ma, you had rules
And I learned that when I obeyed them
My life was simpler, better, richer

Ma, you are the guiding light of my life
Enriching my life in so many ways
You set me straight and set me free

Ma, you are the heart of our home
Your love is so pure and warm
That made home sweet home

Ma, thank you and love you dearly
