Mom's Weekend Poem by Kendra Evans

Mom's Weekend

Ahh! The smell of french vanilla in the morning!
Peace and quiet!
The house is clean, so I'll listen to some old school or jazz!
ooooh yea!
Then!
Mommy 'Mickey Mouse'
The remote goes flying at my face
I thought this was my place!
Then im pushed as close as he can to the floor,
my world, so cozy and quiet, is no more.
a small frown
have to put on my mommy crown.
And Pray to the lord 'fish hooks'
has been cancelled! ! ! ! !
because after a work week full of hassle......
My castle, no Our castle is 'A Whole New World'!
