Momentary Bliss Poem by J.C. Masa

Momentary Bliss

Rating: 5.0

I once had it all; never thought that I would fall like this.
Took my shot, and I missed.
Momentary bliss, I guess.
Went to the stars and hell and back—but I'm fine.

Would you believe me if I said I'm going to do it all again?
Maybe this time it's my chance; I will be the better man.
I will get the upper hand, with no regrets.

If I fall again, don't let me hit the ground.
I was lost before, but somehow I've been found.
All the scars I wear—they're teaching me how,
How to love better now.

I fell down,
But I'm rising.
Pain turned into a perfect timing.
Lost once, but I'm finding
Who I'm meant to be, in the horizon.
