Moments Poem by Jedida Oneko

Moments

I play games in breath
Fluttering instinctively
Just so, to the tunes of the cosmos,
as a babe does cry in need
when I fly through the clouds
when I reach my heavenly crowds
they yell praises so viciously
they sing tunes to allure my instincts
and to zones unblossomed yet mature, I am cast
to yesterday and forever, I am granted vision
the force gives to my stillness
movements and rhythms that raise my fire
I hear sounds that sing to quiet my fury
And my breath paints portraits of calming blue
The doors are unlocked,
Unbolted is my bodily prison
Unchained my spirit soars
And free I am since the beginning of time
Till sadly again
I must return to the earth on which I rest
Till light turns to dark
When open I must, my eyes to my senses
