Moments In A Shower Poem by Rickon Chewe

Moments In A Shower

In a mind of a Poet all that you see as red may come stand as nothing but Blue.
Am all alone in this world and yet all I have left is You,
Well in thought at least.
I figured I should have paid more attention at school even though I was broke
because now in this Day and Age I struggle to find the words to describe how I feel
In this Space and time nothing I can write or I've written will profoundly make you understand what I see.

but
Know me so You Can understand Me
Understand me so you can Know Me
One cannot party without the other
After all Good and Evil do balance each other.

If life is a sea. Then I stand nothing but a stone Sinking to the bottom of its Depth
Anchored by my weight. Could it be Fate? That no matter how many times I move on
Am still in the same place?
No, no can’t be!
I believe decisions have a complementary Good of consequence.
In this Great Big Sea of life death stands but a Ship
Sailing souls away to shores of unknown infinity.

I could be afloat
floating with world as I live in living wait
for my sands to fill the belly of the hour Glass
but the view from the bottom to which am now accustomed
Has become somehow pleasing.

An affiliate and not a product of society
Polluted with knowledge and convicted with Wisdom.
Am no longer the Man I was but a shade of his Past
Change is inevitable but alterations can be avoidable
The Sun rises here when it sets elsewhere,
Gazing in the mirror of life and all I see are reflections of a former Fear
As the dawn of Aesthetic the loner Draws Near
