Moments Of Sorrow Poem by Jujutshu Kumar Deb

Moments Of Sorrow

If her name were writ on paper
I would have torn it,
If her name were writ on water
I would have lost it,
If she were painted on canvas
I would have burnt it,
But no! her name is writ
Upon the blood of my heart,
The more I forget
The more she boils in my heart.
......
Alas! the more I try to forget you
With redoubled haste you reverberate
In the walls of my mind
And in the vaults of my heart,
Forgetting the yearning world
I cry aloud in the pastures of imagination.
