A single glance can turn the world around,
A word, a touch, a choice both small and slight;
The quiet hours where courage is found
Can bend the soul from darkness toward the light.
The first defeat that made the spirit ache,
The fleeting triumphs that felt like the sun;
Each step, each stumble, every risk we take,
Becomes the soil where who we are is spun.
Moments arrive unbidden, soft or fierce,
They carve their mark on heart and mind alike;
Some wounds must heal before they truly pierce,
Some joys remain a spark we cannot strike.
So life is stitched by fragments, brief and true,
And I am shaped by all I've felt and knew.
