Monotonus Poem by Rajeev Chawla

Monotonus

Same-day repeat itself all over again,
Same ways, tried of staying where they are;
Same friend, cracked some old jokes, still makes me laugh, as I get old;
Same life, don't know where is my to be wife,
Same game, everyones playing to win, without knowing the rules,
Same home, weary though, keeps me from getting cold,
Same night, reminds me of that porch light.
