Monster Poem by Knight Riter

Monster

I miss her.
Who I was, before you,
Before you broke me,
Before I could see,
Who you really were,
The monster inside,
That you so easily hide.
That you suppress,
That you keep locked away,
Until you unlock the key,
You pour that drink you set him free.
The real you,
That's lurking below the surface
The narcissist
The manipulator
The liar and worse of all
The one who gained my trust,
And broke it.
Bit by bit,
Piece by piece
You ripped my heart & my trust apart.
I thought you loved me.
But now I see.
The one I loved is now dead to me,
I'll never forgive you but now I'm finally free.
