Moods Poem by Ray Hansell

Moods

If life starts to get me down
I may want you to come around
But if I can make it through
Then I won't need help from you
My mind right now is at ease
To think and feel as I please
Because right now I'm in a good place
You can tell by the smile on my face
But you know as well as I
My happiness could pass on by
Then you know what I can become
When all my feelings turn numb
My heart grows cold as the sea
That's the ugly side of me
But, please believe this is a side
That most people try to hide
Some can do this very good
Others wish that they could
So I know I'm not alone
Because there are others who bemoan
