Moon Light Poem by Matt Burgett

Moon Light

I can see the moon outside
It's got my heart a racing
Full big deep and bright
I can't not sit and now I'm pacing

I must walk run jump or fight
I can not stand it all this moon light
it's got the pressure baring down on my head
And now the adrenalin has got me on edge

To sleep like you ask I can not do
Just look at the moon as it looks at you
It sends it's waves and gets you going
Hell no no sleep from the light it's showing

Shaking if I stop it's so hard to stand
I must let out the animal it needs to bite
But again tomorrow just look at my hand
You will know it wasn't me it was just the moon light
