Moon Lovers Poem by Laurina Belle

Moon Lovers

I sit with you beneath the glowing moon,
As, my love, you make me swoon.
We talk and talk like a bunch of loons,
As if we are lovers from cartoons.
You make my mind spin like a typhoon,
But it'll be at ease pretty soon.
My heart is the colour of maroon,
And my skin is like a hot lagoon.
So as we sit here under the silver moon,
I hold onto you like a baboon.
You make my heart expand like a balloon,
From the beginning of morning until noon.
