Moon Shining Poem by MacCalvin Dziva

l sang for you so that
one day you could remember me
we were sitting on the night
under a moon shining tree
sharing our stories of life and forthcoming,
l knew from the look in your eyes
that we will forever be
Destiny was always a stranger
we rented in its house but
we lived and sprang in love even though we were beggars

We had nothing in hand
But that faithful love we had
was a whitish shade
l will love you without thinking about the End
Even on my last day
l will love you like l'm granted thousand years
It is in the looks of our eyes
whenever we stare
l found you lovely and no one in my life to compare
l need the moon for only us two
take the shine of the moon so we can share
hold on this love till the End
take the proverb of my heart
take it straight to your core
let's exchange the vows
vows of love for our souls.
