Moon Train Poem by Leslie Philibert

Moon Train

The Moon has fine blue lines,
paper skinned and cow faced,
jealous of stars.

The Moon has been bitten to pieces
and ignores standing water,
dull as a circle,

but regular as a train
carrying stones,
night ballast,
a shaker of cups
along the tracks,
it waits amd breathes
in the frost.

Moon Train is nicely said. Moon is described in different ways in every country. It is described as a young girl and sometimes as a male person in Tamil literature, songs and poems.
