Moonsong Poem by Reynaldo Casison

Moonsong

Rating: 5.0

I gaze at the moon
In midnight's blushing dawn

I gaze at the moon
In midnight's blushing dawn
I gaze at the moon
You have another riveting dress on

As the clouds spread
Like your legs in full waltz

I gaze at the moon
as if you're dancing
Right beneath its love

I gaze at the moon
as if it's the light of
Your pretty face

I gaze at the moon
As if it's the light
of your resilient being

I gaze at the moon
As if it's the light of our love

I gaze at the moon
As if it's full of doves

I gaze at the moon
And I feel the beauty of your beauty

I gaze at the moon
And feel the beauty
of your song
