Moonstruck 2011 Poem by Brian Eden

Moonstruck 2011

In calming, warm moonlight
we were sitting on the top of the mountain
I said to you
the moonlight was washed
you asked to me
How to wash the moonlight
I said that is Chinese way. we say that in Chinese poems
oh, you said we don't say that in western poems
colorful lights flashed far ahead
the full round moon was orange
the wind was warm
our silhouette was cast againest the rock
Happy Chinese Moon Festival
These are all kisses to you
my dearest
