Moral Compass Poem by Sarah Elizabeth Clark

Moral Compass

Rating: 5.0

Morality was choice-less,
a decision not so free.
A rule made to impress on me
the way the world should be.
Given as an option, never…
Was that true?
It stays in me forever,
The memory of the harm, to who?
