More For You Poem by Divine Spector

More For You

I bled for you,
While you kept asking for more.
No matter how hard we tried
To build something worth fighting for.

I dreamed of growth,
Of love that would endure,
But you kept tearing down
What I was trying to secure.

You crushed the fragile pieces
Of my already wounded heart,
Leaving scars behind
Where hope once played its part.

Your eyes were colder
Than the deepest winter's night,
And your decision was clear
Long before our final fight.

Yet despite the pain,
One truth still shines through:
My love remains unbroken,
And it still belongs to you.
