Morgana's World: Ignorance Is Bliss Poem by Jessica Conboy

Morgana's World: Ignorance Is Bliss

While the world spins and time passes by,
Morgana’s is still with her head high in the sky.
Where there is no betrayal, no need for a heart to mend,
where there is only a Begging and no need for an end.
Believing hers is better, to herself she will lie,
to protect her world of love, where no one can die.
Take me away she will croon to her dream,
when no one answers, down her tears steam.
Into reality she will eventually grow,
but for now let her be in her simple world of yes and no.
Beneath her hopes of a better place,
Is that grave truth she refuses to face.
To hide is wrong but Morgana is right about this,
Her world of ignorance is one of bliss.
