SEGUN RASAKI

Morning Tide

I wake up and expects it to blow and drive me, powerful yet soothing

Tide and wave unseen but blowing and commanding

Blow me, please blow me into that direction of my blessings

Please drive me to the destination of my daily bread

Steer me away from all evils that abound in the environment

Make my surroundings to be safe, and clean of all undesirable elements both tangible and intangible

Very gentle, soothing, caressing and reassuring yet invisible but present

Morning tide lasts few hours then comes the sunshine to brighten my day

Glow, I say glow, let my path glow, let my skin glow for the reason of the morning tide

What a wonder of creator to have this wind on daily basis, yes this morning tide needs to come back every day
