Mornings Poem by Howard Mcdougal

Mornings

Rating: 5.0

Every morning
In the mellowed light
Exiting darkness
As the horizon cuts into
Jagged peaks
A spark awakes
My love
I witnessed a star
Walking to a fountain
Quenched her thirst
And danced the night
Till rise rise of dawn

That was lovely, you see the poem brought me in and I stood by watching the flowing dress twirl and twirl, soothing to the soul...Excellent.....
