Morsels Of Humanity Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

Morsels Of Humanity

This face a child reaches for
Invisible to thee
Hears howls that shock one to the core
Falters so painfully

Warm eyes a child locks upon
Invites them to a sphere
His many little ones anon
Soon will be free of fear

Those hands which healed the black and blue
And holds a tiny clutch
Continues easing children through
A world so out of touch.
