I've often wondered
about this important issue.
It's driven me nuts for years.
Research does no good at all,
I still come up answerless.
So, I'm asking -
Does anyone know -
Where do mosquitoes go in winter?
I mean, they bug me all summer long -
then suddenly disappear.
Do they steal the splinters I take out of my fingers
and go skiing in Vermont?
Hide out in rented rooms in the Catskills?
Perhaps they go south -
and visit Disneyworld?
Do they travel west -
for life on the prairie?
Do they go overseas
and sunbathe in the south of France?
Eat twinkies on China's Great Wall?
Swap schnitzel recipes somewhere in Germany?
Are the little bums traitors
and giving secrets to Khadafy?
Are they becoming sushi chefs in Tokyo?
I'll have no peace of mind 'till I know.
Where do mosquitoes go in winter?
I need to know right now.
I mean instantly.
Like yesterday.
Last week.
Last month....
