No ear nor tongue may ever tell
All the tortures of mankind.
No voice is so soft and clear
As the conscience of our mind.

It is our one true sanctuary
Where God alone makes the rules!
The guardian of our souls
Which keeps us from being fools.

Our conscience makes us worthy
It's a whisper of God in man.
For without it we're mere puppets
Who dance to the Devil's hand.

God gives us hope to fortify our soul
To make us more devoted is exactly His goal.
For the joys of goodness help keep life worthwhile
As forgiveness and servitude are put to the trial.
