Mother Poem by Keith Harrell

Mother

Rating: 5.0

The lonely cradle; laying in a mother's Eden
For nine months, her precious bundle of joy.

Sends her soul to celestial oblivion
A new role in life; of a caretaker
A nurturer of a new being in this world.

Seeing the little bundle lovingly curled
In her inner universe the home of her endless love for now.

Beautiful piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely encapsulated in good diction with insight. Lovely celebration and tribute to a loving mum written with conviction. Thanks for sharing Keith.
