Mother's Fear Poem by pat doyle

Mother's Fear

My child has leukaemia
I don't know what to do

I just sit and stare endlessly at you
I see the pain in your eyes
And your smile upon your face
My beautiful princess
You shouldn't be in this place

Things are going to get better
The doc's are trying hard
Your strong and battling
Aiming to be cured
I'm so scare, my princess
Of what future we have
But I know our love
Will forever last

So my beautiful princess
Please stay strong for me
You will beat this
You just wait and see.
