Mothers And Daughters Poem by David Campbell

Mothers And Daughters

Rating: 2.8

Are over forty,
Their subtle daughters
Have stolen their beauty;

And with a blue stare
Of cool surprise,
They mock their anxious mothers
With their mothers’ eyes.
