Motion Poem by Samya Bose

Motion

Flowers, when tossed
In the morning breeze;
In its beauty I am lost
And my vision comes to a freeze.

When tiny bees hover around
The aroma of a flower,
In flutter of wings is found,
Its infinite life and power.

Birds are adored more
In motion than at rest;
When they fly to explore
The nature at its best.

Beauty of a horse
Lies in its gallop,
With its mane in a toss
And a gallant rider on top.

Forest comes alive
With plunge and roar,
With sprint to survive
On the moist ferny floor.

Life of a river
Is hidden in its flow;
This flow alone can deliver
To the valley, its glow.

When waves break on the shore
And sea breeze blows off,
My melancholy stays no more
As the sonorous sea sends it off.

I find them all consistent
With this rotating earth,
Whose motion is persistent
Since her birth.
