Mourning In The Green Poem by Perry Greenhill

Mourning In The Green

Awoke in the shade of my shadow
I walked alone in misty clouds by the meadow

I walk for days for weeks and years
Nothing will stop my invisible tears

One day the weight becomes to much
I got nothing to grip on
I'm loosing my touch

Without a sound I fall to the ground
Wines climb my body they grow all around

You are gone never more to be seen
And I just lie here mourning in the green
