Moved Poem by Wendell Brown

Moved

I am moved each day to write a song
To lift up Your name in praise
For I seek to add Your loves splendor
To make so heavenly my new day

And as I open up my eyes to see all
What your hands have exquisitely made
I am moved in my spirit to satisfaction
To rise up from where I once had laid

For I find as each day begins anew
It is much different than the one before
I find myself becoming new and better
As my hand steadily reaches to your door

in prayer I rise with hope asking of you
For the forgiveness of all my sins
Asking your grace to wash and cleanse me
So like this day anew I may now begin

Even though as imperfect as I may be
I find it to be so very gratifying
You do not change Lord from day-to-day
As we of flesh who many times have fallen

For we must be cognitive of our state
Also of what goes on daily in our world
So we may be better equipped to help many
Become beautiful shining pearls of Yours.
