I never knew
how to let go the past
how to be myself again

You always say
You're sorry
You're still by my side

I never knew
how much pain I could feel
how much loving you could hurt

You always say
It was a mistake
It was a one time thing

And I still ask myself
did I do something wrong
did I make you unhappy

Even when you said
I could trust you again

I never knew
You'll always say the same
