For weeks my mind has been ablaze,
Now I'm sifting through it's stubble.
Lifted the blanket sea of haze,
Calmed the roaring sea of trouble.
Glimpsed shoots of hope with real amaze,
Squeezing past the tear-stained rubble.
Gathering strength for life's next phase,
Though my heart's still beating double.
