Multiplicity Lost Beyond Measure Poem by Mystic Qalandar

Multiplicity Lost Beyond Measure

Gazing intently—far,
far beyond the horizon,
I try to drink in the distance,
to quench a thirst for sight.
But these eyes—
finite, not infinite—
cannot cross that boundless line.

Still, I behold an unseen,
luminous face
as if it were before me now—
its silent, piercing gaze
locking with mine,
like that day
my soul was summoned.

A steely voice
gripped my very being;
I became a willing prisoner
to the love in its call.

Yet—
my soul is not estranged;
I am free,
not confined in any cage of flesh.
This sense of exile—
mere illusion, mere deceit.
No suffocation,
no pilgrimage to a lost paradise.

All such weight
is but a boulder
crushing the birth of possibility.

My mind has washed itself
clean of these mirages—
Deliverance...!
Deliverance...!
Deliverance...!

No frantic pursuit now,
no ache for reunion,
no grief at parting—
this heart is as empty
as it was
before entering the womb.

It does not wander;
I do not roam in aimless circles.
'I… am…! '
Beyond me, nothing.
I am not a fragment—
I am the whole.

In oneness,
all multiplicities vanish into the void—
a single radiance
of the One Existence.

Unity… Unity… Unity…!
All else—
futile… futile… futile…!
