Mum And Dad Poem by Jayne Roddy

Mum And Dad

No family gatherings anymore
Your house is empty-Your there no more
Such laughter we all had
Such lovely memories-Now im sad
The house i grew up in has been sold
A nice young couple so im told
A beautiful garden dad did have
His pride and joy i used to laugh
Mum sat there on her chair
Life has to end-Its not fare
Special occasions i do miss
With all my family it was bliss
We dont have them anymore-Its so sad
Mum and dad wouldnt be happy-I feel bad
Something happend when they went away
Our family torn apart-I cant say
I just want you to know my dear mum and dad
Your in my heart and im so glad

Lost of parents weather through death or divorce is still time for a long period of grieving and healing. Writing about the feeling helps release the pain in the soul. 10++ Best wishes
