Music Poem by Monica Paris

Music

I heard tender music,
when truly none was there.
Sweetly humming,
gently strumming...
floating over me in mid air.

So I danced...
my spirit did sing,
to the music....
that her heart and eyes did bring.
Love whispering through feathered wings,
as the music vibrated through lyrical strings.

Where I heard harmony
and it did rise,
embracing her in my arms,
gazing into her eyes.
The music duly lifted my soul so high,
above this world,
levitating on our sighs.

A newfound song,
singing sweetly to me...
surrendering to this gentle revelry.
Composing together.
A harmonic melody...
playing on my heart...
so soft and tenderly.
