Music Poem by Rayniece D. Clayborne

Music

Back in the very day.
I used to attend sock hops.
And let's not forget...The malt shops.
here is where you were very safe.
There was a big, red juke box...and
it played some very meaniful tunes.
No.. not the kind.. where you
were feeling sluggish.
A story unfolded.. and the
fly girls.. geeks.. and of
all the very best..plate of fresh hot french fries
were very tasty... penny candies, and cookies were
traded..and ofcourse the boys...were still
weird..but very innnocent..and there was
always..someone who wanted to dance.
I appreciate...every lyric, melody..and tune
that made my heart swoon.
These are the very best days...and you heard so much.
And the music...never got old...just better.
