Parkview Poem by Rayniece D. Clayborne

Parkview

a rich vibrant red lay upon the beautiful green grass.
The blue and gray skies began to puff..from the plane.
I notice the cololor of nature.
smiles began to take form.
I slip off my slingbacks.
The picnic basket opens...the beautiful fresh cut flowers
surrounding me, creating an aroma of pureness.
The realness of distant conversation.
The walkers, bikers, yes even some hikers, all pass my way.
The soft pillowy blanket..keeps me from feeling the dew.
I take out my journal, as my beautiful baby browns, view.
The day spent at the park.
