Musical Tide - Poem by Rik Bertrand

And the waves coming crashing down,
Surrounding me round and round
Like the music I play in my musical mind
These watery waves are oh so kind.

The rhythm and the beat go splash,
As the waves comes in, in a melody crash,
My piano plays in tune with the tide,
And takes us all on musical ride.

Crisp and clean is the spray and the mist,
Washing over my face, like a lovers kiss.
Playing my tune, and caressing my passion
Engulfed and encircled filled with compassion

Watery waves and tides filled with musical prose,
Reminds me of why this profession I chose,
Like dew on the morning, and rain from the sky
This gives me my reason, and tells me the why.

REB (MARCH 2012) God bless music and how it fills the up my soul
