Musing 20 Poem by shuvo chakraborty

Musing 20

Ask me not where the meteors fall
Or how far the eagle carries the rabbit?
What most may I know in heart of hearts,
The extent of genuine grief or the love amiss.
Pain of disappointment or sorrow survives some hours
Either in chorus or at the corner of aloofness,
The star of meditating self arises with midnight elf
Of deeper slumber for the mourners from church return,
So the love estranged rolling in the lonely bed
Leaving space enough for quick flight of distress.
