Musing 26 Poem by shuvo chakraborty

Musing 26

Petals thrown upon the bride groom are widely strewn,
Never to adore the flower again where they blossomed,
Mists of biting winter drench them to rot silently
Although the flower survives within it seeds.
Passion of youth with heart pining endearing
someone to bosom close in blooming dreams,
Stuffing petals suffice within the bud upcoming
For having a majestic looking with all tenderness
And enjoying warm hours under the hue of winter afternoon,
Estranged years looking fogs with vows so unclear and weak.
