Bats are hooting hither and thither at midnight,
Looking mysterious with winking eyes in dark haze;
Coming out from trees tall and the mansions dilapidated
After the sun set, roaming in circles with scheming intents.
They wont seek the bliss of rest or the slumber of days
Till their satiety fed within the night sustained.
Tiny creatures in thousands without any default
Siege with witch hunt zeal to suck more and more
Juices from the hapless fruits ripening in garden,
Leaving them dry and spotted at the mercy of summer wind.
