Musing 34 Poem by shuvo chakraborty

Musing 34

Calculating mind divides the maze of globe
To pause the diurnal course and interpose
Between the sun and earth to fasten its girth.
It knows how holy the basalt chamber melting ever
Obdurate heart of universe in uncorrupted fire,
Steaming vapor having desert blow reticent
With pondering eyes looking knee deep
In volcanic mystery toward the roads inward and outward,
One clad with waxed reasons and another with asphalt devotion
Withstanding forever the heart burning by pouring wants.
