Musings By Sea: Twilight Poem by Komarraju Venkata Vinay

Musings By Sea: Twilight

As the day and night alloy into twilight
A stirring turbulence strikes my heart.
The soul watches what is not
And in sympathy identifies with it.
A calm crushing silent noise pours into it:
I become what I am not!

Poet's Perspective:

A trivial quotidian incident stirs the soul. Awareness pierces through the physical barrier and soars to the realms of spiritual guidance. Life’s sole ambition, knowing truth, has been realized. The metamorphosis takes place. The hairy caterpillar of man comes out of the cocoon of ignorance and becomes the dazzling butterfly.
