Must I Write Poem by Gabriel Egbe

Must I Write

Must I write?
To prove to you the efficiency of my literal jedis
And my prowess over vocabularies.
Must I write?
To prove to you how malleable words are to me, and my ability to dissect gigantic diction with my poetical surgeon blade harnessing them for maximum impact
Must I write?
To undress feelings and snapshots of words rumbling in my head, flaunting them on this cyber space for public consumption
Must I write pungent lines that stinks on papers and itches the eyes, poetic waste products I spill on books for the cleansing of my own soul
Must I write?
Delving into my mind to prove to you that I can't get bankrupt of words and how submissive the 26 alphabets in English are to me, exposing the wealth of ink flowing in my soul
Must I feast on words daily, consuming large chunks to satisfy my poetic hunger
Must I merchandise the efficacy of my literal antidote for the salvaging of humanity
Must I continue slaving the ink exposing the depth of my mind from which my very life sprung forth from
