Forsaken would be I,
if I'd not have you
by my side,
yet again this feeling to cry
I tell you it's nothing,
but then again it is a lie.

It's not a feeling of sadness
nor is it a feeling of a toy,
to tell you that these tears
are the ones you have made of joy.

My heart beats faster
at your touch,
and how I hate to say
'I miss you' so much,
stay by my side
so I will be free of sadness,
to tell you 'I love you'
and save me from this madness.

I will do my best indeed
to keep myself
from this greed,
to love you this much it seems
that our love is compared
to our dreams.

For days I've been
dying to see you
how great it must be
to be you,
for this day is purer
than a dove
and I ask myself,
is this feeling
more than love?

A kiss upon your lips
is all that I ask,
that would get me up higher
than a silver plated flask,
you are my addiction,
my drug for life,
tell me you love me
and keep me from this strife.
