My Amor (Sonnet #92) Poem by Tina Baaklini

My Amor (Sonnet #92)

When I gaze at you, the world dissipates
People exist no more, just us my amor
To your soul I relate, O my soulmate
To your pure heart where spring blooms evermore.

Our hearts are alike as two wheels of a bike
Close as two green leaves of a red flower.
When love's flame ignites, we soar high as kites
From West to East, the whole sky is ours.

What tomorrow holds, I truly don't know
Still I'll breathe love in your heart of gold
Where Niagara's falls of your love still flows
Tenderly watering my heart and soul

Nothing compares to your love so rare
For our unity I care— it's my prayer.
