My Angel Poem by mandy teixeira

I never thought that God would send her down,
And that I would be lucky enough to have her in my life.
I've come so close to losing her,
But she wouldn't let that happen.
When I messed up she gave me a chance to really prove my loyalty.
Instead of turning her back on me like most people would,
After how I actted she forgave me.
She is a true Angel.
But now someone new has come into her life,
And I'm scared I'm going to lose My Angel to this person.
I don't want to lose the only friend I can actually trust,
And that has always been there for me.
I warned her ahead of time what happens when i get scared of someone taking my place.
I started pushing her away and she put me in my place.
That's exactly what I needed to straighten me out.
I'm lucky that God sent her to me.
What's so cool about her is that I feel like I can be myself around her,
And not worry about her running the other way.
She's seen me at my worst and still stuck around me.
I've done some real stupid things this year,
But like the Angel she is,
She never once judged me.
She truelly is the only one that understands me.
It's hard to find a friend like her,
That's why I'm going to do everything I can to keep My Angel.
I love her like a sister,
And would be lost without her.
Thank you Lord for bringing this perfect Angel into my life,
And blessing me with her friendship.
I'm the luckiest person alive to be able to call her My Angel.
