My Anger Is Angry Poem by LuRyza Penn

My Anger Is Angry

Rating: 5.0

My anger is angry.
Its pain.
Its frustration.
Its irritation.

My anger is angry.
My anger is confusion.
My anger is past, present and future.

My anger's disappointment.

My anger builds
up and explodes
like thunder on
a stormy day.

Its fiery red.
Its envy.
Its greed.
Its temptation.

My anger's TOO angry.
Won't you please help me stop?
I'm a blazing volcano
that's ready to pop.

Nobody can really help your situation. Please listen: There is an eternal truth in the following statement: - 'There is no problem in a given situation. All our problems are due to our reactions and responses to that given situation'. We can react in a particular way or in a different way. That choice is not mine but yours. If we can modify our reactive levels, we can certainly reach a stage far from being always angry. It is only a question of mental angle. Remember, Christ accepted the cross. He could have escaped from the situation since he had the power to re-surrect but he did not do. He could have slipped out of the hands of those brutals but he accepted the cross. Why? To him, this mortal body was nothing. He knew that nobody could touch his soul. That was enough for him.
