My Ark Poem by Federico del Corazón

My Ark

If I could build an Ark

To be consumed with a lovers heart
To be true in my pure form

A question for you
What would you put in your Ark

Would you put the worlds love in it
Celebrating every single joy

Would you fill it with a poet’s song
Would you hear the laughter
of children at play

What would you carry in your Ark

Would it be big enough to fit
The Sun, Moon and Venus

My Ark is my heart
You have my world

Be kind to me
