My Aunties House Poem by cassie sian green

My Aunties House

theres a big metal mirror
with patterns all around
theres dark wooden flooring
all over the ground

theres pillows and cusions
along the settee
theres a little green plant
that looks like a tree

theres a big wooden table
where we sit down to eat
there a little rond bean bag
to put up your feet

theres and unlit fire
in the middle of the wall
a flat screen above it
its a joy to us all

theres drapes on the window
their cream and brown
their set very neatly
and their dangling down

theres a cabinet full of orniments
fairys they are
some pictures of children
and a little mini car

theres a big fat budah
on top of the shelf
hes there to bring you
luck and wealth

theres a nintendo wii
and a sky box to
many games we play
this is very true

the stereo the speakers
and the lights on the wall
but there nothing much
out in the hall

some stairs and some shoes
spread across the floor
but in the living room
there is no door

a cell phone on charge
plugged into the wall
is someone waiting
for a call

a glass on the table
without a coaster
i hear the sound
of a delux toaster

all of the things
and sounds around me
this is the reason
i visit my auntie :)
